The St. Anthony Guild is an organization of women whose mission is to serve the poor and disadvantaged of the community, while enjoying good fellowship and spiritual renewal in their work.
In 1939, Monsignor Fusco, with 33 women of the parish, began the St. Anthony Guild. In addition to the special needs of the parish, the Guild's members volunteered their time and talents to support the St. Anthony Orphanage in Oakmont.
There are 47 members.
Meeting Location: Marble Hall
Meeting Frequency: 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of February, April, May, August, September, October and November.

Betsy's Back to School Basics
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton dedicated her life to education. In her honor, the St. Anthony Guild will begin this new program. We shall provide some items important to beginning a new school year. As a result of our very successful February Raffle we will purchase 44 shoe gift cards for 1st and 2nd Graders at Mary Queen of Apostles, Ft. Crawford, Martin, and Greenwald Elementary Schools. The Guild is pleased to work with school personnel in each of these locations to provide this much needed service. More details.
Celebration of Women
The Guild also sponsors the Celebration of Women (click here to read more) in October where women are honored for their service to the church community.
Tree of Angels Campaign
The Tree of Angels Campaign (click here for more information) in December has raised thousands of dollars for children in need. The Guild sponsors the St. Anthony Novena from April through the feast day in June. The Guild also remembers the homebound members of the parish at Christmas and Easter.
Mount Saint Peter Sewing Group
The Mount Saint Peter Sewing Group recently completed fashioning 12 cloth table skirts to be used for special occasions in the Marble Hall. The Addolorata Society and The St. Anthony Guild very generously funded this project. The hard work and dedication of this group of 17 women has given our church a lasting gift to be used and treasured for many years to come.
