Lenten Fish Fry
The weekly Lenten Fish Fry was started in 1997 to provide an additional source of income for the annual budget. Throughout the years, the menu has continued to expand to include pasta fagiole and linguini with clam sauce.
The Planning Committee meets twice before the beginning of Lent and once during the Easter Season. Before Lent the committee meets to set the menu and prices, and to assign responsibilities. After Easter, the committee and volunteers meet for a pizza and wing social as they evaluate the season and begin planning for the next year.
The fish fry is held on Ash Wednesday and on the first six Fridays of Lent. There is no fish fry on Good Friday.
