The St. Anthony Guild is a women's organization dedicated to providing special services to the church since 1939.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to tend to the special needs of Mt. St. Peter Church and give aid to the needy of the parish and the community.  Promote good fellowship and a sense of responsibility between the Guild and those in need.

• Meetings - Third Tuesday in Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., Feb., Mar., Apr., May at 7 PM in the Marble Hall
• Number of Members - 39 and 3 honorary
• Conduct Fund Raisers to raise money for church projects - We participated in the Opening Kaufmann's Day Celebration and our Fall Fantasy Dance thus far this year.  Monies raised pay for the Fruit Baskets at Christmas and Easter Bread for the shut ins of the parish.  As you know the Mt. St. Peter Youth Group deliver these for us.  100+ were delivered this year.
  A donation will also be made to the Emergency Fund of the church, allowing Monsignor to help those in need.
• Angel Tree - This year's most generous contributions enabled us to provide for 86 children and 32 families.
• Host receptions for church functions - We were very pleased to host the Welcome Reception for Monsignor Michael and Father Alan in August, '05.
• Yearly Christmas/Lenten party for members - As a body we go to Communion in December and March, followed by our Christmas Brunch and Lenten Communion Breakfast.
• Fruit Baskets were prepared for the Shut-ins at Christmas time. They were delivered by members of the Youth Group.
• Easter Bread was prepared for the Shut-ins and delivered by members of the Youth Group.
• St. Anthony Novena - Begins April 18 and runs 9 consecutive Tuesdays, ending June 13.  St. Anthony's bread is distributed at the end of the Novena to all, and a reception follows in the Marble Hall.
• Celebration of Women - The first annual Celebration of women is scheduled to be held on Sunday October 22, 2006.  The celebration will start at the Noon mass followed by a Communion Brunch in Marble Hall.  We will honor women posthumously who have served our parish.
• Fall Dance - Saturday, November 11, 2006 - 8:00 PM till 12:00 Midnight in Marble  Hall.  Click here for more info about this year's fall dance.
• Christmas Brunch - Sunday December 3rd - Immediately following the 10:00 AM Mass at Arthur's Restaurant

Angel Tree - Christmas 2007

This has been a Yearly Project since the early 1990's Proceeds are used to purchase Christmas gifts for needy children and families. Parishioners can Sponsor an Angel Pledge cards are mailed to all registered parishioners in the fall. The money is collected prior to the Christmas Season. Guild members purchase, clothing and other items and wrap them.  Distribution is done through an anonymous person, Guild members do no participate on that day. The Tree is placed in the Chapel of the Seven Sacraments Symbolic Angels are placed on the tree representing donations received. A book located next to the Tree lists the donors and honorees.

Easter Bread - Easter 2007

St. Anthony Novena 2008

Celebration of Women

The first annual Celebration of Women was held on 10/22/2006 The purpose of the Celebration is to honor those women who have served our church faithfully The Celebration kicks off with the Noon mass A reception is held in Marble Hall immediately following  mass Women of our parish (past & present) are honored for their years of service Names were submitted by the parish for those women to be honored Click here to see pictures from this years Celebration
