Congratulations to Sister Susan At a recent community meeting, Sister Susan Jenny, our Coordinator of Ministry Development, was elected to a leadership position with the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill. We congratulate her and wish her well in this ministry of service to her religious congregation. She will assume her new responsibilities sometime in early June. |

Through the generosity of contributors after weekend Masses, the “Pennies for Haiti” project at Faith First, and the coffee sale in the Fall, we raised over $7500.00 for our Partners in Progress in Haiti! All of this money helps to fund the work of this non-profit group whose mission is to promote and support sustainable community development in Haiti. Who needs the Community Clothes Closet? Our neighbors do! The economy has taken a toll on many adult members of our community. Daily life for these individuals is laden with struggles. Economic challenges affect much of our adult population. It is the goal of the Community Clothes Closet to assist these people. Read more. |
