February 2 - Candlemas
Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

On the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the prophet Simeon proclaims that Christ is the Light of God’s revelation to the world.

The Blessing of Candles will take place at the 8:30 Mass on February 2.

February 3 - St. Blase

This Wednesday we celebrate the feast of Saint Blase. Before being martyred, he is said to have healed a boy who was choking. Since the eighth century, he has been venerated as the patron of those who suffer from diseases of the throat.

The Blessing of Throats will take place on February 3 during the 8:30 AM Mass.
